Payment Of Utility Bills

Recommended Posts

If they are allowing 7-11 to accept the money and process their bills. Can't see how they could refuse to accept them as proof of payment. Surely would be same as paying at bank and other places listed on back of some bills as options.

I have paid electricity bills and telephone bills there no problem. They don't accept if bill over due date, maybe that's where some problems have arisen??

I've read somewhere that household utility bills can be paid at 7-11 stores.

How does it work?

yep 10 baht per bill charge, you need to get to 7-11 within a few days of recieving the bill otherwise they will turn you away.

most bills can be paid at 7-11, check the back of each bill you get

You need to look for 7-11 that has 'Counter Service' sign - some branches do not have it. You can also find 'Counter Serivce' some place else that is not 7-11. Many cell phone shops also have this service or you can also find the counter at some Lotus Express, just look for the 'Counter Service' sign or you may also use 'Pay Point' counter

Also make sure you pay the bill on time since these service counters do not accept an overdue bill.
