Deli In Pattaya

Not too long ago a new Deli opened in Pattaya, but I have not seen it mentioned for a while.

Is it still open? Does it get the Jingthing seal of approval - two thumbs up?

Sir, you must be referring to Street Life restaurant on the edges of Boyztown. Run by an ex New Yorker and all food was well done. Restaurant is also an art gallery. Nice decor, great service, and health portions. All sandwiches come with a pickle and cole slaw.

Now under new ownership so have not been there in 6 months.

I only went once with the old manager, who word is actually wasn't the owner but a hired manager, who has since been replaced. I just had lox and bagel. The bagel was above average for Thailand, the portion of lox was below average for anywhere, just OK lox, and the potato salad was disgusting, way too much mayo, no flavor. Heard the same thing about the cole slaw. Those sides could easily be improved if they cared.
