I would say go for it.... what could go wrong...

I definitely agree. I didn't actually read all of the OP's post, but I've had several emails like this and I've made more than 46 million dollars in the last three months alone.

NO.

Delete the email and forget all about it.

If you send any response at all they, (it's almost always a professional gang trying to scam you) will ask you for details of your bank account that they can send the "gold" to for "safekeeping"

Then, if you're foolish enough to send them you bank account details, they will attempt to remove any funds they can from your bamk account.

That "person" claiming to have sent the email does not exist, "she" does not have any gold, and anyway why would "she" send you a email when "she" doesn't know you?

The whole thing is a standard scam...with a "new and improved" version of the scam story as bait to hook you.

Don't be fooled...delete the email and forget about it.

I normally get mails like that with promises of millions of dollars from Nigeria.

Wonder what they do if i started to feed them, with bogus bank accounts and bank names, and so on.

Would it make them work a bit before realizing it went nowhere?
