Blood Test For Hep

Featured Replies

I am doing a culinary course in America and need a Hepatitis test.

Anyone know of clinics nearby Chalong that do this? Particularly one you have experience with and that has competent phlebotomists.

I need the results quick, like in a week.

Thanks

No, not in Chalong. I go to Phuket International Hospital for blood work in their outpatient clinic. If you are not an established patient, it will cost more as you have to pay to be put into their system. Last time a visit with a specialist and two blood tests was 700 baht. Results in about an hour. They can even email the results to you so you don't have to wait or come back... The older woman there is great, never a bruise... You could ask Dr. Thiti in Chalong, He did a finger prick blood test on me, but I don't think he has a lab...

Thanks I thought PIH would be expensive as I know my friend went to a lab somewhere on Chaofa west but can not remember where. Ah Dr Mor Thiti.. he is good and cheap if you need an xray.. but will go to a lab. good to know results are quick. Thanks J!

I second the Phuket International for blood testing. Inexpensive and quick, results in 1 hour for most tests. 500 baht at the most, maybe less.
