July 3 - What Happens ?

Featured Replies

G'day from Australia.

I will be on a 3 week holiday in Phuket that straddles the 3 July election day.

I'm hoping that some kind soul wouldn't mind telling me what to expect that day in terms of businesses etc remaining open.

I have 3 children aged between 2 and 8 and dont relish the idea of a complete shutdown.

Thanks in advance.

Steve

About the only restriction on election day would be ban on sale of alcohol. So bars will be closed, but all other activities will be open as usual.

Actually from what a bar owner told me (Thai) I understand that bars will be closed on July 2de .
