Child'S Play In Samui

Featured Replies

Hello All.

Looking for some activities for a 3 year old child who will be visiting us in Samui with his parents this weekend.

Is there a cool playground or splash park anywhere?

Would be grateful to find a destination for the little guy on his holiday. We will obviously hit the beach but some other activities would be nice.

Thankful for any suggestions, as I have never looked for 'fun for the little ones on Samui' only been an adult playground for me so far!

Thanks again.

you can try fairways samui near the airport, it's 100 thb per day.

When it gets too hot for the little one , go over to Buddies resort retail complex - Just before Lamai on the road from Chaweng

They have a KidsWorld indoor play room with a few toys and activities . Its cool and not so busy most times Ive been there

There is Coffee World an an irish bar right next to it

i used to take the kids up to nim's magic garden, high up on the mountain. kids that age are fascinated by the place, statues, carvings, running water and i get out of the heat. it's not really something to actually travel to samui for however having it there, along with the small zoo on the way up the same hill makes for a pretty good days outing for the entire family.

Crocodile park near the airport feeding at 1500.

do you really think, the crocs like the small 3 year old ones??

Fairways on the airport road is specifically designed for kids, if you leave the airport arrivals and head to Bangrak or the old airport you'll find it on the left, it looks like a modern industrial unit from the road but I'm told the facilities inside are brilliant, think there's even a bar inside so the older kids can enjoy a little refreshment.

HAHAHAHA .. great question!

I take my 3 yr old throwing stones in the sea if i want to keep him amused. He loves it.... either near the big buddha area or theres a quiet beach out of choeng mon towards chaweng i take the kids. Also he loves Wat Plai Leam to feed the fish and also the big buddha he likes to bash the bells at the top. Crazy golf too theres one behind the islander he likes. Also it riles me to go but he likes the kids place in Tesco Lotus with machines and amusements. Failing all that theres the beach somewhere shallow and thats easy to find.

Edit: I just seen the OP again and may be too late with this reply :whistling:

Not too late at all, and thank you all for your ideas.

The visit got bumped back two weeks so now I will have a list of possible activities for his parents to choose from.

Thanks again for your help. I also just saw an art place by Big C. Maybe not exciting enough, but no matter since there are a lot of great ideas here!

Nice to have friendly folks helping.

could try Big C. before apprently it closes down
