I normally use a Garmin wrist monitor for my running, with built in GPS. Today it died on me, so I started wondering if I could some how use my Samsung Galaxy Europa to do the same thing with an Android app. In the past I've tried the GPS program that came with it but it's never connected. I downloaded an app tonight and went outside to see if it worked and connected. It didn't. What do I need to get this to work? Does the phone need to be connected the net for it to work. When I used it in the Uk I don't think it was.
