Ok, I heard tonight, in fact 2 minutes ago, the idea for this advertising campaign came from a Thai working for a Thai company.

Very impressive.

Many Thais working in advertising and media are amongst the very best in the world. Take a look at some of the better TV commercials and you'll see what I mean. Several Thai TV commercials have won international awards and acclaim.

I personally work with some of these people and I can assure you that they are superb. Their creativity is on a par with the very best that you'll find in NYC or London.

This latest campain, however, is quite literally off the radar.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Aston Martin, but I dont think it would be such a hit to the Thai public as the Porsche (or other sports car).

I might be wrong of course.

Nevertheless, it was simply a brilliant idea.
