Cheapest Place To Buy Viagra In Bangkok?

I'm pretty sure it's legal since I bought it on Khao San in a pharmacy. But the prices on Khao San I can deal without. There's got to be a place that sells it cheaper. Can anyone clue me in? Thanks.

Next year the patent expires on Viagra (baring any legal extension). This will allow other manufacturers to create generic Viagra that will substantially decrease the price. Not that this will help you now, but just an FYI.

Edit: As for it being legal ... I actually believe it is only legally to be sold in hospital type settings in Thailand making buying it off the street or in pharmacies is illegal. So, don't be surprised if this thread gets shut down if you do get advice on where to buy it cheaply on the street.

I buy "prescription" drugs over the counter in Chiang Rai and while I have no idea of the price of Viagra I find it considerably cheaper to use the sort of places the locals go to rather than suppliers on the tourist strips.

Yes, I was hoping to find another local pharmacy not on Khao San. I just don't want to drive and go to every single pharmacy, hence this is why I am asking others where is the best price on it. I think I paid like 900 baht for 4 tablets on Khao San, or something ridiculous like that.

Is this thread "closed"? As far as I know I don't think it is illegal as it seems you can go to any pharmacy and go buy it. If it's illegal, could someone cite some type of law showing it is illegal rather than just throwing out that it is illegal.

So you think 900Bhat for 4 tablets is a ridiculous price, huh. The average selling price in the pharmacies here in Bangkok is between 350 to 400 Bhat per 100mg tablet from a legal licensed pharmacy. The 900Bhat that you paid could be for the 50mg dosage or fakes.

Genuine imported Pfizer Viagra sells here for 1800 baht per pack of four 100mg tablets from reputable pharmacies. Generics are available at half the price, and Indian and Chinese equivalents at half that again.

Generic India made called Caverta 100s, can be had at large reputable pharmacies (in the central provinces) for 30baht a pill i.e. 120 baht for a pack of 4. Not so large pharmacies, seeing a farang might try to charge 290 baht. Better to get the thai gf to buy it. Not so reputable pharmacies will charge ....... a lot!
