BANGKOK AND UNESCO TO HOST EVENT CONCERNING ANTI-RACIAL DISCRIMINATION

Deputy Director to Social Development Office KRITPAT VISARUTRATTANA (กฤตภาส วิศรุตรัตน) said that the Bangkok Metroplitan Administration (BMA) and UNESCO will host the meeting on the topic of “Spend lives with Races” with the Asia-Pacific region’s experts. The purpose of the meeting is to solve the differences between races and to bring peace. The meeting will be held during 27th – 29th October 2005 at Imperial Tara Hotel, Bangkok. Delegates from many countries have shown interests in attending the seminar. Moreover, BMA will invite the government and private sectors as well as media are also invited.

On the opening day of the meeting (27th October), Bangkok Governor APIRAK KOSAYOTHIN (อภิรักษ์ โกษะโยธิน) and UNESCO Director SHELCON SHAFFER (เชลคอน แชฟเฟอร์ ) will deliver a welcoming speech to specialists from Asia-Pacific Region. In addition, the specialists will travel to the KANYA Temple’s (วัดกัลยาณ์ ) community in Thonburi (ธนบุรี) District to study how the community spend their everyday life in an ehtnically diverse group. On 29th October the specialists will also visit the One Tambon One Product at BANPU (บ้านบุ) community, Bangkok Noi (บางกอกน้อย) District.

Aw, come on - most of us came to Thailand to get away from this polically correct crap.

Let's face if, most people take people on their personality and how they they get on,
