Where Is Department Of Land Transport In Nonthanburi Area?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, wish to apply for thai driver license. Looking for Department of Land Transport in Nonthanburi area, cant find it :( Anybody been there and can explain how to find them? Thanks

If you know Tescos lotus on Tiwanon then it is not far, continue on Tiwanon towards Pathumthani, go past the entrance to Tescos, under the footbridge, past the Caltex garage and then the next left is the Department of Transport, big white gates if my memory serves me right.

The small building is the place to go, second floor if I remember correctly, photocopying can be done there as well

There are many too bad my wife isnt here should could have helped a bit.

I live in Nonthaburi and i know of at least 2 different ones. One is quite small and great for extending your license as you dont have to a thing but pay. The bigger one you have to go do some tests again.

Alternatively you could go to the one near JJ market.

I found this page...

Also I found this thread helpful -->

I recently got both an automobile and motorcycle license, based on my U.S. license, very easy, no written/driving tests but an eye test and response test. In theory you're supposed to go to the DLT office nearest your residence, but I don't think that requirement is in anyway enforced.

Look for the big green sign with white writing(both Thai and English) on it that hangs high above the entrance off Tiwanon Road
