1-Year Multiple Entry Visa

Featured Replies

I will have to travel to Laos often (about monthly) from next month on. I wonder whether there is a way to avoid the page-size sticker each time for the visa.

Is there a multiple entry visa? My secretary called to the Lao embassy but nobody picked up the phone.

A tourist visa with multiple entries and being valid for 3 months would be something, being valid for a year would be better.

If it is only available for business (and this I have been told), where would I find the requirements for this visa?

A multiple entry visa can be obtained for a period of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year from Lao embassies or Consulates in foreign countries (provided that it is arranged in advance).

Thanks, but if they don't pick up their phone, it is a bit difficult to arrange in advance. :whistling:

But thanks for the info that Lao law says it's possible, because none of the people I asked (most expats living in Laos) could answer that question. They only knew that you get multiple entry if you have a work permit. I will pay a visit to the embassy to apply for a multiple-entry tourist visa next time at least a week before I travel and will report back here what the outcome was.
