Hi guys i would like to know if it is possible to take a scooter on a ferry to koh tao? i am thinking of buying a scooter instead of renting and we are going to koh tao to do a diving so could i take the scooter on a ferry over to koh tao to save same cash.

There is a cargo ferry boat to and from Koh Tao that docks in the evening at the end of the Seatran terminal, the boat docks behind the big trip boat with the canoes. I think it gets in about 8pm. I picked up generator I bought from Koh Tao. Not sure if its every day but you only have to ask around.

u could modify it and make in amphibious. that would be fun watching the Thais saying yes to that job. Don't think they have the same machinics as Jeromy Clarkson but it would be interesting challenge. you could film it and send it to top gear if it is a succcess

u can get it on the cat. but they wanted 2000 baht just from samui to phangan. not sure about the extra leg

Best route is to take a yacht....
