You mean BIG spender  the finance didn't leave him enough to buy a PC .

Or been arrested for wearing an SS uniform in public.

Perhaps cdnvic should change the title to 'I Bought A Chevy V1'.

Joking aside, not seen TC on any Tv forum. Hope he's OK. ;)

This was the first iteration of the Cruze Aussie version, came with durable Yank vinyl seats and no airbags as Mel found out. The one with the plastic blower was the one he crashed :) .. It was a low budget flick..

Mitsubishi Sapporo, was it? I was like 17 at that time, but Chrysler/Dodge US made US consumers think this was their product. Fact was they had failed with their K-car, and desperate to catch low budget young buyers as their customer base where reaching retirement age. The end of us auto industry, but thanks to government support they continued to 2008. Thanks to huge government support GM still make cars like Korean CRUZE, and Dodge/Chrysler married Fiat, didnt they?

and T/A there is no blower, there is a 2000cc/90hp 4 pot with a movie soundtrack V8

so we r still on topic, CRUZE :P

Dear Thaicruze,

You got yourself a very good car!

I don't doubt a second about it.

Many people feel not secure when somebody else thinks that

another car is better than the car he or she bought.

Because the number of that category of people of course is

much bigger than those who favour a special brand it is evident

that you got the kind and number of comments you got.

On top of that many people like to jump on the bandwagon, which

also adds to the enormous enthousiasm in critisizing you and your

choice of car.

I just want to say that I respect the way you defended your choice of car.

I hope you are going to enjoy its ownership as long as you choose to do so.

I also want to wish everybody else not to regret their choice after a couple

of years. The main thing is that you are happy with your car.

Some of the critical voices seem to willing to convince themselves that they

are happy with theirs. Forgive them 555!

To those among us I would like to say: just drive it and it will bring you

from A to B 555!

Sorta back on topic... My biggest complaint with the Cruze was how incongruous it looked. You have a really modern, sharp, angular front end, and a back end that looks like a Honda Civic melted onto it.

But I finally saw the LTZ version in the flesh with the LED taillights and those make a pretty big difference, I was quite impressed.

I have to admit I was following one for some distance the other day and it took me several minutes to take note that it was a Cruze and not a Honda which is why I hadn't taken any noticed previously being so common.. I finally caught sight of the Chevy badge as it turned into the same park I was going into but before that I was certain in my mind it was a Honda..

Hi TC.

Not exactly fair as Limbo has more then 2400 posts do you think it's likely TC knew that far in advance that he was going to purchase one and promote it all over the Net just to come back and troll as another member?

Good for Limbo to come on and state his personal, honest feelings and dare to go against the tide of opposition.. Tough one that takes character that is, few here espouse to do that IMO afraid of being lambasted and vilified which eventually leads to a possible suspension or banning if they choose not to be a door mat to those of that ilk.. Most go with the pack leader of the moment..

The second part of my post was speaking in general in support of his taking a stand against the tide and not directed at you specifically..
