Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone recently has gone to the Sakon Nakhon Immigration Office to renew their retirement visa, using a letter from the British Embassy as confirmation of pension income...and if so did the Immigration Officer accept the letter OK or was any further information requested.

Many thanks.

Don't know the position at Sakon Nakhon, but, when I did my latest retirement extension at Maptaput 4 weeks ago, they were happy to accept the UK Embassy letter without the need for further information. That said, I did bring with me the supporting documentation I provided to the Embassy just in case, and I would advise you to do the same.

Same procedure at Udon Imm.
