thanks for the tip on the wetsuits, is Hotwave a retailer or a manufacturer?

other stuff, i am really looking for a manufacturer or a cheap supplier and can be aftermarket or original

the order would run to a few hundred pieces .......

I did some sales rep'ing for a wetsuit importer here in Phuket for a few years. I am still associated with the company. PM me your email and I'll put you in touch.

Hotwave is a tailormade manufactorer and retailer. Don't know if they could deliver any kind of volume.

Maybe your Wake boards are made in Thailand. Check web site of The wake boards and or other stuff and see if they have thai rep. I have gotten SUP's for cheap here in Thailand. A lot of that type of sports equipment is made here in Thailand. Good luck...

Apologies for hijacking the thread but is a wetsuit/or wet tshirt essential for snorkeling? I will be doing some snorkeling in places like phi phi, koh tao and phangan. Can I not just go in with my shorts?

Thanks,

No that's a Rash Guard UV protection

Thanks,

The water is warm here so snorkelers don't need any thermal protection. Most scuba divers use light 3mm wetsuits, usually shorties, because they are fully submerged for up to an hour in deeper water cooler than surface temps. A human will get hypothermia in water less than 95f/35c, it's just a matter of time.

Thanks,

Wear some sort of protection, T-shirt is fine, to protect you from sunburn. Because while snorkeling your back will get a sunburn, legs also but to a lesser extend.

Thanks,

You might consider a lycra dive skin for sun and jellyfish protection.
