Repairing A Phone In Phuket

Greetings,

My Nokia device just died a cruel death. Its an N97 and the screen shows colourful rainbows (or is just black) at the time the power is on. My experience with Nokia Service Center aint good. It takes forever for them to fix it and the price is usually very high.

When walking through places like basement Big C you can see plenty of phone (repair) shops. Would it be wise to drop the phone off to one of these shops for repair? If so, which shop would be recommended (as there are so many around)?

There is a Nokia "care center" on the back road of BigC.

Just a couple of days they repaired my Nokia.

Good service and they use original parts.

It's the road behind BigC, on the left may be 200-300meters.

Next to a Family Market shop, left site, single unit.

Yes! You come from Farang restaurant road, half minute on the opposite site.

Another possibility is the Repair Shop in Bangkok Road near the old Post Office. If going to the roundabout with the fountain, it is on the left side, after turning left out of Soi Phu Tron about 200 m. I had my display replaced in the N82, 1200 Baht, 25 minutes, perfect job done. (7°52'53.19"N, 98°23'11.14"E or open attached file in Google Earth)
