Where Can You Get A Giant Jenga Set In Phuket/Thailand

Featured Replies

Now then all,

Friends of mine from Australia are getting married in Phuket next February and for reasons as yet unknown to me, they want to know if it's possible to buy a giant Jenga set here in Phuket or further afield?

If anyone has any info regarding a giant Jenga set - where you can get them, how much etc it would be massively appreciated.

On a similar note - does anyone know anyone who plays the bagpipes (well). They're Scottish and as yet we've not been able to get hold of anyone.

Cheers in advance

Probably wouldn't be hard to find someone who could make this for you. Probably any furniture / cabinet maker could do it. They would probably call you "baaa", but be happy to take your money and do the job.

Curious to know how big is "giant"... pieces made from two by fours? bigger?

Most of the souvenir shops have them and even the otop markets.

Jenga, been helping old men break the English barrier with bargirls since the 80's.

It's a local institution.

i dont know any one who plays the bagpies, but you can always play a C D of bagpipes at the wedding?

A giant Jenga, and bagpipes? Sounds like one heck of a party.:D Can I come?

If you can't find bagpipes, The Mrs. plays a mean khlui.

Yes back then, before the purpose-made jenga sets were available, it used to be played using a domino set and resting the large (now out of circulation) old style five baht coins on top. The difference in that version is that when a domino was removed, it was not added to the top of the stack. People played their turns until ultimately, the five baht coin fell, finishing the game.

I could do a standup comedy routine.

I know of plenty of bars for sale, I think they come with wife, fortuna repayments and a jenga set
