Hp Touchpad Available Here For Low Low Low Prices?

Featured Replies

In the US the HP TouchPads are sold now for $99/16GB and $149/32GB?

That is an interesting price, especially because Android will soon be available (ported) to this machine.

Anyone has seen them?

*WERE* sold. I believe they are all sold out. I don't know of any online retailer that has any remaining stock. Unfortunately, also didn't see any available in Chiang Mai anywhere.

HP has discontinued the product and slashed prices from $400 to $99 to clear stocks. There is a reason they did this with reviews calling it slow and buggy. It won't be sold for those kinds of prices in Thailand, retailers are reporting totally out of stock but apparently you can get a pricey one on ebay.

For some reason cannot quote from the first post

You got a source for the Android comment ? There is one report of someone offering a HP Touchpad on Ebay US that mistakenly had Google's Android 2.2 operating system (OS) installed and it's price has risen to $1025

A Touchpad-running-Android bounty posted by Hacknmod is up to $2,150, according to Engadget

Hardly "soon to be available (ported) to this machine " :whistling:

Thanks Langsuan Man for your reaction, but I am afraid you're a bit drifting away from my original question:

"HP TouchPads are sold now for $99/16GB and $149/32GB?

...

Anyone has seen them?"
