When you want to change your address on vehicle registrations do you have to have a letter from

immigration or would some other proof of address be OK, for example a credit card statement

with your current address on it

Hi normally they ask for a copy of the passport/ visa and a copy of the house contract/ bill and also a letter from Immigration (should cost approx 200 thb) but if you have a work permit that will be all you need with the visa. If you dont want to go down to the office and deal with the bureaucratic system then there are plenty of agents around that will do it all for you for a nominal charge.

Immi letter.. They dont even accept other Thai issued ID like a license (from the DMV) to confirm it.

My prediction was to look at the GBP and AUD spread.. I dont know the precise dates but YTD it has done, but not by nearly the amount I believe it will if and when the commodity correction and next recessionary leg down takes hold.

My much stronger prediction was to buy gold and silver with it.. And we all know how thats done !!

I needed 2 which i kept and gave the transport Dept photo copies of which they accepted no problem

Copies of the relevant pages of your passport

Copy of your house book
