Internet/Mail Ordering

I'd like to order some gym shorts/tank tops from an sport clothing website in the USA. I was wondering if the package (most likely sent in a large envelope) would make it to my PO Box address or would I have to pick it up at the post office and pay a tax on it. I have heard that people order from Amazon.com and get books this way. Any experience with this??

Things like new motor cycle parts are normally taxed 30% and paid at the post office when picking up.

Clothing are taxed 60%, but I once bought some shits via e-bay from USA and I was only taxed 30%. I think my small order for 5 shirts was not considered something I would sell on so I got away with 30%.

I bring in quite a lot, if you are lucky you can sometimes get away with no tax. Also depends who ships the goods if you use UPS or DHL they charge brokerage and you always pay taxes at the maximuum amount. Using USPS (USA) or Royal mail from the UK the charges are always a lot less, and sometimes zero, also depends on what is being shipped of course.

Good luck.......
