Fishing Clubs In Phuket

I love fishing and have tried lots of way to get out for the day. The join in boats are all the same weather you pay 1200 or 3000 Baht. Tis just the amount of maneities they offer. Fishing the same spots etc.

I have joine one club but there is no infra structure to generate fising options. All to many clubs or whatever by any other name are littered with people trying to make money and survive in Phuket. House sellers, car sellers etc. are on about them selfves and not fishing...

Can any one give me some info on fishing clubs??

Why not try Rawai Beach Fishing Club they are the only Official IGFA Sponsor Club in Phuket and are holding an International Tournament Early feb with over 35 boats with teams from all round the world competing. There are some great prizes including a New Car and Millions of Baht in prize money. If you cannot afford the Big Game Charter Options I believe that they are having a Freshwater Competition at Phuket Fishing Park 20th or 21st Sept and a BBQ at the Paradise Beach Bar Rawai soon as well. www.rawaibeachfishingclub.com or they also have a facebook page where you will get weekly & daily updates. Most of the Top Charters (Proper Fishing) not Tourist Tuna Trolling are members of this club and I am sure if you contact them they will have spaces on the next Big Game outing.
