Darrel
I know it doesn't help you but TMB send my SMS alerts within a second or two of the transaction taking place. I was rather impressed, especially as I didn't know I'd signed up for the service (which seems to be free anyway)!
ShopBoy
Have you check the setting on the SCB easy site ?
endure
Are you in Thailand now? If not, did SCB tell you that the SMS that they sent would be available worldwide or just within Thailand?
sbergin
I use the scb sms service and it is instant. Literally, the sms hits whilst the cash is still being dispensed from the atm machine! You do need to check the box in the scb easy site. Is your thai mobile roaming where you are now?
CMSteve
The alerts from SCB are virtually instantaneous. When I do my online banking i get an SMS about 1 second after I hit the confirm button.
Pib
Since the OP said he just signed up for SMS alerts today, maybe it takes 24 hours (or a little longer) for the SMS alerts to be fully activated/start flowing. Then, the SMS alerts would be immediate. If the sign-up was via signing a form at the bank, it may take a little while for the human being to process the form, get the SMS notification activated for the account, etc.
