silentnine
hi all. following on from another post i made about being charged too much on my domestic supply. i found out from a seemingly outdated PEA price list for electric that there is a special agricultural rate if the majority of the bill is for pumping water for agri use. we currently get bills around 5000 baht per month and seem to be on the higher domestic rate for the farm. does anyone have any info on how to get the electric office to change us to the agri water pumping rate Applicable to government agricultural agencies, officially recognized farmer groups, agricultural co-operatives or farmers operating water pumps, for agricultural pumping through a single Watt-hour meter. Monthly Rate First 100 kWh. ( 0 – 100 th ) 0.6452 Over 100 kWh. (101 st – up ) 1.7968 electricityrates.pdf

Lickey
Never paid more than 300bht a month, that was for a 1hp borehole working 9hrs a day, there must be an agri rate, perhaps go to your Agri office and ask?

rice555
Hello Silentnine, if you do a google search of your request, you might find the link in one of the TV threads that gave a link to the TH guidelines in EG about juice for farm pumps. rice555
