I am hoping you will be able to help, does anyone know of a shop that sells good quality sprung baby mattresses I have tried mother care but the ones they sell are very soft i would like a firm one also I am unsure what chemicals they still use in Thailand so I am not too keen on getting a foam one from here.

We use a form one in our son's crib, you can get one cut at any furniture manufacturing/repair shop. They have varying degrees of quality and feel.

I don't really see the problem with using a form one; when you find your "cherub" trying eat your shoes, or making a sandwich out of hair from the vacuum, I think sleeping on form is not going to greatly affect their health.

It is not the foam it is more the chemicals that are used in them most of which would be banned in the UK. Hence why I would like to buy an imported one, Mothercare sell them but I found them to be very soft.
