Cp Fresh Mart

Featured Replies

I had to laugh the other day, when I found myself at Thonglor soi 10, looking for a 7-11.

Across the street I spied something branded much like every other convenience store in the land, and proudly exclaiming "CP Fresh Mart" in bold primary colors.

Braving the evening deluge of rain, I put my head down and forced my way across the street to enter this oasis.

Upon entering the Fresh Mart, I was confronted by about 6 plexiglass-topped freezer chests, and a refrigerated glass wall.

It seems that the fresh mart is dedicated solely to CP's frozen and pre-cooked products and there is not a spec of fresh produce or meat in the place.

In addition, it had absolutely none of the typical convenience store fare, such as beverages, tobacco, chips and the like. Only frozen food.

Fresh Mart indeed.

Thankfully seven was right next door.

I've seen these and wish they would open one up near my apartment. Very convenient and way better selection of food than 7-11

When visiting Kamala a few years back we stayed at the Coconut resort. Being a resort I expected some resort resort facilities. Like a pool. Or even a restaurant. It had neither. It was not a resort.

Have to admire the artistic license.

They usually have some good deals such as 2 for 1s. They are part of the same company as 711.

I like my local CP Fresh Mart, ours have a good selection of fresh pork and chicken, and they have Meiji and fresh orange juice. In the frozen section, they have seafood and ready-to-eat dishes.

FYI - CP owns 7/11 and is a very very large and very well run Thai company...

Cheers
