You can go snow skiing and water skiing on the same day. No need to be in a frozen climate when you can enjoy the best of both worlds.

I've been in Lebanon during the winter, and it definitely wasn't snow skiing weather...

Good snowfields in Australia, but thats nine hours away !

Depends where you are in the country, up in the Shouf Mountains there's ski resorts.

So is the Med warm enough for swimming during the ski season? It was frigid the winter I was there.

From Siam, the closest seasonable snow will be Bhutan, or a close second, SW Yunnan Province in China.

As mentioned earlier, the nearest snow is right at Thailand's western doorstep: northwestern Burma, which represents the far southeastern end of the Himalayan range. Snow-capped mountain peaks are there for your taking, with snow 365 days a year. There is a ski resort (yes, a ski resort in Burma!) called Hkakabo Razi.

Korea is probably the closest reliable snow, its reliable as the ski resorts there manufacture their own snow.

Run a search for Muju resort....

more expensive than japan or europe we went there 6 years ago wife me 2 kids for skiing snow was fabulous but it would have been far cheaper to go to Canada or europe or even Japan
