But since the majority were negative, I will have to submit to your collective judgement and admit to being a tight-ass [arse, you Brits and Aussies]. The fact is, I come from a country [the good ol' US of A.] where waste is systemic and part of the culture. When I first came here over thirty years ago I found a mindset entirely different. Most people didn't throw things away even when the amounts were trifling. Being an artist and supporting a family hasn't been an easy go financially but I've managed to put two daughters through CMU. The older one going on to get a masters degree at Chula and a subsequent appointment to a goverment ministry where she is now a freshman diplomat. So excuse my parsimonious ways, and I'll excuse the indignation that my simple request has caused. Choke dee to all TV members, even you nasty ones. The forum would be bland without you!
