It washed up on the soi in our mooban a couple of days ago after heavy overnight rain. It was either dead or knackered as it didn't move for 30 minutes.

Easiest way to check is to cut it in half; if it has a spine it was not a worm.

Google thailand snakes. One of the hits has a form you can fill in with att photograph and they will reply to you with an ID on it

To the best of my knowledge worm's don't have scales.

And it looks like it has been run over, or mangled by something as there are sections bent in funny angles.

Looks like a dead snake. Been in the water for some hours/days. Same happens to dead people, when the body stays in water a long time.

Looks 'armless to me!....Sorry!
