Congrats on shaving like a real man.

The larger Body Shop outlets such as at Central Chidlom sell their high end Macca root shave cream but expect to pay.

Best Supermarket in Pattaya sells Old Spice cream in tubes but it's a bit overpriced. Haven't seen that in BKK. You might check the pharmacies on Sukhumvit around Soi 4.

Otherwise, you can use a creamy soap w/ a few drops of shampoo. TIT.

Old fashioned I guess. But I have always used the shaving brush with shaving soap/stick method. Now, after living in Thailand for several years, I have given up trying to find shaving soap (the stick type) and as you suggest use a creamy soap instead.

My latest attempt has been to buy a shaving brush. So far no success, but will continue with my search. Any tips on where to obtain a shaving brush will be appreciated.

I melt ordinary soap in a pot and add glcerine and coconut oil. Not too foamy but smooth. Shaving brush ebay is best local alternatives are terrible.

Thank you all for your comments, my only regret is it took me so long to learn about using a brush and the benefits and memories of course.

The gas cans have always caused a skin irritation to the point I don't shave on the week-ends, I was always worried the brush would irritate my skin, little did I know.

In three weeks my beard has adjusted and I it is the best shave ever everyday.
