The worst flooding in decades, Don Mueang Airport Closed, extended holiday announced, 10 bombs in south thailand, massive water shortages, etc etc and the SET rising 21 points. Is it me ??

They are all betting on the short term that all food supplierswill horde food or essential supplies for profit (rising prices or shortage to for higher prices seen already). This is very normal for greedypeople to make money from people’s miseries

You think betting on food suppliers outweighs closed industry, car factories, tourism warnings, cancellations etc etc etc. Even KFC has not had french fries, combo plates or ice cream for days and few customers along with many other restaurants.

Post 9/11 basically the entire market went down expect maybe defense related. That market allows to buy "short" but I don't think Thai market has "short" options.

You can't look at one day. The market is still down 100 points from a month ago and off over 200 points from the high this year.

Like the war last year the foreigners selling and the locals buying it up?
