Can anyone tell me if there is anything going on in the fishermans village on the 10th. Young family wish to attend festival

i've never heard of anything happening in FV directly. there will be thousands of people around chaweng lake, so many that you'll need to plan well in advance for parking and walking. i usually take the family to a certain wat that has a lake, as it has fewer people and what we think is a great atmosphere for this type of event.

Wat Plai Laem will be crowded, before it used to be Big Buddha. But actually you don't need a Wat to Loy Kratong

Where ever you go in Thailand, it most likely be crowded during Loy Krathong.

For those in reach of Nanthon, they are setting up tents near the ferry terminals...for this event.

Last years event there was very good, with some excellent exhibits ... parking was not too bad, but do expect to walk a little...

I would guess it will be just as good this year...

a worth while way to spend an evening :clap2:

apart from everyone on this island is in reach of Nathon, tents again? > fatty Thai fast food? aquariums and pets? one or two cars from a major car producer? sob-stuff, plants? countless Asian DVDs? cheap clothes? massage oils? ...?

I'll be there
