:cheesy: :cheesy: Simply hillarious. A lesson well learnt by these two, if you are going to go crawling around the bars of Pattaya it is buyer beware. A little like a lucky dip you never know what you get until you unwrap it. Suck it up princesses and stop trolling the bars and get out and see the REAL Thailand.

Ladyboys are hot...espeically those two...those Ruskies should have considered themselves lucky

A man, impersonating a girl, with the intent of tricking a customer into sex ?

Totally unacceptable.

Reasonable on the face of it.

However, sometimes customers subconsciously want to be tricked.

In Australia it would be the offence of obtain financial advantage by deception (Indictable offence)

Reading the story again, if the Russians really did start a physical assault against the sex workers, is it possible they might face serious charges (or have to pay serious money)?

LOL - good one

btw, are Laotians permitted to work in Thailand and if so what says the work permit? Street manager ?   :jap:

That would come under the heading of "street vending" sub-section "hot dog vending"

If by hot you mean homely and manly ...

The one in white...definitely a femboy and cute as well..and the two Russian guys could do pretty well for themselves in Boyztown as well :D

Isn't this the same logic as practiced in Japan (now) and the USA of 40 years ago in rape cases? "Even though she said 'no,' she really meant yes--like most women, she wanted it.'" --therefore shifting blame to the victim? whistling.gif

I wholeheartedly agree with PaulJones: Totally unacceptable. annoyed.gif

Since the Russians thought they were getting females, then these " ladyboys" are guilty of deceptive advertising and deserve to be beaten to a pulp. And the sooner the better.

They are con-men. You like that?

I do not want to worry these Russkies - I live with a ladyboy here in Bangkok - but this is BIG news in the ladyboy community.

Also the motor bike men outside our loom here know the ladyboys concerned as one comes from one of the man's village (and is a post op!). You see you never know who knows who in this place lol!

I guess that most of Thailand is having a quiet snigger as it is hot news on the Thai forums and chat rooms ...

Time to go home boys! :D

If I bought a vacuum cleaner from a store and took it home to find that it did indeed suck up dirt but there is an attachment that I did not notice before, can I get a refund even if the vacuum cleaner performed as promised?

Must be one of those fancy testicle attachments.Simply return it and get it fixed.huh.gif

The Russians (especially the one on the left) look hot. :P

Sure the ladyboys tried to rape them and will be prosecuted for that. Ladyboys not always let men do what most women are not accepting, hence the conflict with the Russians fearing for their virginity. This is the truth of the story   .

Thailand, land of surprises !

No, nothing like it at all. No rape involved. What I meant that some straight men are curious about same sex adventures on some level, but can't even always admit it to themselves. So some of those types will be drawn to TS people to explore this.

Lmao can someone please translate this into Russian for the search engines Som Nsm Na from the picture one is so obviously a guy. The other not so much from the picture but I am sure if the picture had sound and body gesture it would be obvious lol

Do you have telepathic powers? How would you know this or is it just an assumption?

Should someone make a disparaging remark about a person of the third gender, I often tell them, that is no lady, that is my husband.

No, I'm educated on these matters of sexuality. I said the word some. Look it up.

I realize that you said some I wasn't disputing that, I was just wondering how you know an individuals thoughts. Never mind you answered the question. cheers.:jap:

I don't really think so, as the customer would have noticed (did obviously notice) the impersonating part before any sex happened.

I side with JingThing that they might have known (consciously or subconsciously, but this is just a theory of mine). If a straight man approaches a girl, or a gay man approaches a guy, there are some wavelength connections. I posit that there must have been some wavelength connection between the Russians and these service providers.

On the other hand, at 1am (assuming that they had consumed alcohol, which the article doesn't say) they might have decided to prove to each other that they are man enough, and each picked up a girl to take home. What a great coincidence that both of them ended up with a boy in a dress (I say this judging just from the pictures published in this thread).

While I'm all against violence and scratching, I don't really feel sorry for the Russians. Maybe they were naive enough to think these were girls, but they (should) know that you just apologize, smile, and not demand the pittance of THB 1,000. There was fun enough for them in the story to tell their grandchildren, had they just let it be. Now they made themselves the laughing story of the expat community in Thailand, and chances are that the story spills to Russia.

Of course, THB 1,000 must be a lot to these Russians, as they don't even own shirts... (I'm trying to stop from laughing out loud again...) Point is: The school of life is not free of tuition fees. I hope they have learned their lesson.

:cheesy:

I heard stories like this, and they always happened to "a friend of a friend". I always thought these were urban legends.

Not an urban legend, rather the reason that it's always a "friend of a friend" is that most hetero males would be embarrassed to say that they took a tranny back to their room.

If they did that my mistake, they'd be too embarrassed to even tell the story. If they did it on purpose, they wouldn't even tell the story... Hm.

I've heard the story told in the first person before.

Boys should have done a bit of research before coming here!

It doesn't need a lot of research though. That katoeys abound is one of the first things you hear about Thailand.

:cheesy: :cheesy: This story is an absolute pissa, I just couldn't stop laughing. Love it. :cheesy: :cheesy: Serves themselves right for crawling around the seedy areas.

Easy mistake to make after a few beers, especially when new to the country - anyone here not made that mistake?

To answer your question.... YES.
