Hi my name is Marty, i will be retiring to Kohn Kaen in February 2011, i love motorcycles and would be interested in talking to any bikers in the area, just to get to know the ins and outs of biking in Thailand, i would also be thinking about building or customising bikes, any ideas or comments please let me know.

Is this old?,ya say feb of 2011,that was 10 months ago.

I understand there is A custom motorcycle shop in hua hin.Ya might want to give them A call.I don't know about Khon kaen but udon has at least 3 or 4 motorcycle clubs.

The biggest problem about riding in thailand is,ya have to have eyes in the back of your head. The mirrors help A little.

At a traffic light keep it in gear.ya might have to take off fast or get rear ended. The more traffic, the more chances are your going to be laying in the road.Good luck to ya.

Hi Thrilled, Thanks for the reply, yes it should have been 2012, I was just looking to see if there where any bikers in Khon Kaen, that knew their way around as far as finding parts and accessories,

One day I will be settling in just north of you in Nong Bua Lamphu.

The nearest place I know of for Harley parts in Udon Thani. If you go in on the west side and make a left on the bypass toward Nong Khai, there is Big Cycle. The are on the web as .com.

I have not had them do any work for me. I try to do it myself because I am picky.

Thank's Gonsalviz for the info, I think that they have a Harley store in Khon Kaen, but i do not know if they would sell many old Harley parts, i am going to bring some over with me when i come to thailand.

There's a Harley Dealer in KK nearly opposite Big C on Mittraparp Highway about 1/4 mile from the Central Plaza traffic lights.

Not a real HD dealer.

They say there is on in Chiang Mai also but also I think not real.

Possibly they are better for vintage parts.
