eljeque
Is Thai Immigration s incompetent that they are unable to use a passport number with a name, birthdate, etc., and note the birthdate with a one-legged German, that they are unable to stop him from entering the country TWICE!!!! Immigration could also inform the German embassy that they request that the German government not allow him to change his name again as he has done it once to illegally this country. All it takes is a little effort, but that is too much for Immigration in this country.
solo siam
Doesnt say much for all the effort immigration have gone to for keeping out terrorists, Like the above poster says if they cant keep out an elderly, one legged German man who had his face plastered all over the Thai press and Television. george
Thai Television said that he have entered the Kingdom on an international flight to Bangkok, took a domestic transfer without passing immigration in Bangkok. On arrival in Phuket aiport he trashed his CIQ sticker and managed to enter thru the domestic arrivals, hence no passport check. TiT.
TAWP
Some how one would have thought it would be harder to trick the immigration...and surely he must have learnt this somewhere... Wonder how many that has done it and for what purpose...
sriracha john
He got back into Thailand due to a false name on a false passport.... Schieman, born in Schweinfurt, Germany How did he get back in? Surely they would have a file at immigration? It's Germany's responsibility as well to stop this maniac. Falsifying a new passport....etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

When you get off the plane and walk down the corridor, you can go left to immigration (ICQ stickers) or turn right and not go through immigration - its as easy as that. eljeque
Maybe now that this has been plastered all over, the government migh figure out a way to plug the hole. I also just read that he had a false name on a false passport. If so, why would he have even had to go through this ordeal?
