Swimming Pools - Onnut Area

Featured Replies

Hi there,

Does anyone know of a swimming pool that is open for public use, or condos with pools available for anyone in the Onnut area? Looking for a pool for a bit of swimming and sunbathing.

Thanks guys

If Phra Khanong is not too far, there are two large pool facilities I know of. One is a sports club on Pridi (soi) 41, off Sukhumvit 71. Also Bangkok Sports Club on Pridi (soi)42, again; off Sukhumvit 71.

I checked on them both a while ago: not inexpensive.

Or go a bit further out and use the rooftop swimming pool at Central Bangna. Several buses from On-nut stop there (IIRC 25, 48, 132, ..) @ around 8B / 15 minutes ride.

There's a good pool of a decent size between On Nut soi 44 - 46 on the right hand side as you're going up from Suk. There is a good gym upstairs as well. Only 80baht per time or you can get a monthly membership for about 1000bht.

Piyarom Sports Club (Punawithee BTS) has the best pool(s) I've seen in Bkk, but you have to be a member and it's not particularly cheap!

Soi 56 has a public pool on left hand side as you head up the soi, but not sure if it is open all year round. Very cheap and usually fairly quiet.
