SOUTHERN THAILAND WARNED OF ANOTHER WAVE OF STORM

The department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has issued a warning of another wave of storm in the country's Southern region.

The announcement came after the department had been reported of another low pressure trough generated in the South China Sea, heading to the lower part of the Southern Thailand, might lead to heavy rains in CHUMPHON and the lower South.

The report says that the low pressure trough will reach the Gulf of Thailand later today (any minute on Nov 29), posing the South of Thailand a risk of flash floods and landslides in the next 3 or 4 days.

People likely to be affected are those living around the delta and downhills.

Above seems to be the best site for radar but it is not live - updates about every hour and remember to add 7 hours to the UTC time given.

The island looked like it got hit about 7 PM but the storm had burnt itself out so looks like the girls escaped (how come all the girls live there?).

Cheers

Don't worry, Finland! And welcome to the forum. Everything will be just fine when you are coming.

Oh, stop worrying and come, it will all be fine by then. The weather is good today, pretty hot, and if I was not stuck in an office I would be working on my suntan.

And anyway, you can always find a bar to shelter in if it starts to rain!
