They need to watch the airliners at their check-in counters that always have far to long queues. Each airliner should be forced to have sufficent counters open for check-in as to minimise the queues. Same for the security screening. -

You keep believing that. Subtract the millions ( probably around 15 million ) who are doing nothing wrong, are in the UK, as evidenced by the activity on their account. Subtract those that have declared they are overseas. That pool of 22 million, has shrunk to a very small puddle. I could not care less, what you might, or might not be doing, none of my business. I'm simply advising you, that the big pool of 22 million that you might think you are hiding in, is nowhere near as deep as you think it is. Sure, Bank X,Y and Z, provide statements for every account that you believe the account holder might not be in the UK, based on transaction history. Press the pause payment button, wait for phone to ring. -

Despite my own skepticism about this (also mostly about passengers), I would agree that - in the long run - Bangkok makes more sense as a cargo hub than expensive Singapore which is, pragmatically, a bit out of the way in any case, or HK for various geopolitical reasons. -
