Will Thai Customs Confiscate Our Sex Toys?

It's possible they could be confiscated - but unlikely.

Most postal items are inspected by the customs declaration, and the shipper is unlikely to declare them as 'sex toys'.

On arrival in Thailand, all carry on and checked bags are subject to exam only upon exiting the baggage Carousel. So it only matters if your carry on baggage will be scrutinized more on departure from home country of travel or some airports like japan when connecting to another flight.

Doubt the japanese care much about your Sex Toys. Seems they are the pedominant Perv's in this area.

Funny the gals I have been with never mention the need for sex toys ..... giggle.gif

I'm late to the party here...but for James' sake... I'll briefly add...

James.... I think once women get into their grandmotherly years of age, they don't have the same interest in such things... That probably explains your situation... tongue.png

PS to the OP.... if you're shipping anything into Thailand, you or the sender will have to fill out a customers declaration... I'd imagine something like "electric massager" would be the way to go.

And I'd agree... best to ship via regular USPS or similar mail... not the DHL and FedEx types...

So, did the OP get wiser ? Anybody have experiences importing sextoys ?

Well, as they are illegal to import, you'll just have to take the risk.

They sell some on Sukhumvit near Nana, right on the sidewalks.

So you can buy them here, but of course not so much choice as the online stores.

They also sell them openly on the streets of Hat Yai. They are all over.

I consider it a deeply misogynist law, because as modern women all know, "rabbits" rule!

Rabbits are old news, dolphins are the latest fad ! I once modified a rabbit to be used with a household power cord, we broke up shortly after that.

Dolphins? I'm ashamed I didn't know.

There is a very good sex toy/clothing shop on the second floor of Seacon Square Srinakarin Road, so it can hardly be considered against the law these days.

But it is.

So is prostitution, porn, and copy movies.

There are of course alternatives.. Most fresh food markets and supermarkets have wholesome alternatives. A peruse of some toy and novelty aisles can often gleam useful soft accoutrements. Some drinking receptacles are well shaped and can also be considered.

Apparently celery is all the rage and if you shop around you can save yourself a few baht from shop to shop.

You really must try bitter melon, at least if you're into pain ...

Apologies for going off topic but I managed to get my sex toys out of Thailand OK. Is it acceptable to plug them in at the first class lounge in Dubai?

Its just I read the instructions and they take twelve hours to charge for full efficacy it says...

Do they work slower with half battery? Also do you think they will have a foot pump?

Anyone ever notice how feminine hygiene product packaging is almost always in the shape of a **cough**....

Well that would depend on how long your layover is of course. No fear though. first class usually have a plug for laptops and 'other' electrical devices so you'll be fully charged by the time you land.

^ Vegetables don't vibrate.

Rabbits?

This law in a land of insitutionalized prostitution is as sexist as it gets.

Yeah , best keep vibrators away from the women, they might decide to forgo the men and save a lot of housework !!!
