Hooters Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Anybody know where to buy wood doors for my condo?
RKASA Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Where are you? Home pro - Thai watsadu etc etc family owned home centers. Buy finished doors as most of the un-finished are not dry wood or not dry enough and they don't stay stright after a few months. A home center is the best bet - measure the frame and they will fit you up.

Most of the ready made doors in shops are 200x90 cm. Depending on the type of wood, anywhere from 2000k and up, a decent one about 3000k. Thats for the door only, hinges, screws, locks and handles will be extra. You had better make sure the hinges you buy fit the previous door frame, if they are too thick you wont be able to close the door without modifying the existing frame. Seeing as you live in a condo, I would get one of the maintenace men to go with you, he I assume will be the guy fitting the doors.
Hooters Posted January 7, 2012 Author Posted January 7, 2012 Good idea, problem solved thanks for the input
ExC5Engineer Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Bought one from HOME PRO a couple of years back, Nice looking door, a bit pricey but has held up well here in Chedi! Took the measurements and the door was ready in a couple of weeks, minor tweaking to get it to fit.
