Markets For Streetwear-Style Tshirts?

Featured Replies

I just got to BKK and I'm looking for nice tshirts with good designs. Not necessarily name brand or knockoffs, but just stuff that looks nice with cool and unique graphics. I'm not averse to knockoffs as long as they're OK quality, but I do want to pay market prices not mall prices. Most of the stalls I've seen so far all sell the same crappy Singha type stuff.

I'm also looking for shorts and shoes, not necessarily name brand (or counterfeits of name brands) but just stuff that looks cool and won't fall apart in 5 mins.

I'm going to check out Patpong tonight and Chatuchak market this weekend but what are some other places to look for this kind of stuff?

Google Boy T-shirts in Siam Square - lots of cools different designs

Head on to Pratunam area start off from Platinum mall and the area across the mall

Walk outside your door and turn left or right. You will find t-shirts, shorts AND shoes at Thai prices.

But he wants cool stuff not the cheap tat they sell on most streets. I think you didn't read the question properly.

Chatuchak, Siam Square...and some of the local brands have opened shops in Terminal 21 although I haven't checked that out yet.

Bo Bae Tower calls itself wholesale but you can certainly buy 1's & 2's

Yup, I second Bobae Tower. Not crowded as Pratunam and lots and lots of all kinds of clothing at close to wholesale prices.

Pratunam and Chatuchak Market are good places to buy T-shirts. Quality these places is not the best, and wife says that the quality in Bo Bae Market is even lower. Also loads of T-shirts in MBK (as far as I remember on 3rd floor and 6th floor).

As I feel more comfortable in high quality t-shirts, I normally end up buying in Central, when they have a sale. Central Bangna currently have some cheap (199 Bht) T-shirts from "Paramount" on sale. The quality is very high, but they may not be specifically cool for a youngster.
