TheKeeNok
Hey all, Wondering if any of u all know of a place where audio tapes can be transfered to MP3 recordings in BKK. How much would such a service cost? Thanks a bunch!
pgs
You're in BKK - a quick trip to Pantip should see you leave with an inexpensive toy that you can use to do it yourself.

Just make a schedule for yourself and knock down those cassettes one-by-one.
rgs2001uk
Why bother, just download from the internet. Been there done that, you will also need to download a copy of Audacity.
dekestone
Easy enough to do yourself ... if you have the right hardware and software. The most difficult part is usually finding a working cassette player. (Walkman will do.) As mentioned above I would use Audacity for the software. It's free and easy enough to use and if I remember correctly it does have some noise reduction features as well. Here's a pretty thorough explanation. http://www.wikihow.c...ape-to-Computer One thing to remember -- it can only be done in real time, so if you have a lot of cassettes to do it will take you some hours.
