This morning, I had to attend an appointment at the Royal Thai Embassy in London, England. I CAREFULLY went down the steps to the basement, where they issue documents and their were nearly a hundred people, in what could only be described as a room 10m x 8m.

I am sorry but its just too small, how are we meant to conduct business in such as small space, where every Tom, Dick and Harry is earwigging your conversation.

Either there needs to be a bigger consulate area in the Embassy or close it down as its an absolute nightmare.

One more thing, the parking is horrendous, in what world are we expecting to pay £8.50 per hour for parking.

AAAAAHHHHHHHAAHHHHHH

I thought now if you use a vehicle in London you pay for the privilege so surely the parking fees were not a suprise? i expext Tom, Dick and Harry used Public Transport.

The visa section is in the basement, this area would have been used by servants in the era the place was built. The steps leading down to the basement are dangerous and were never designed for normal foot traffic. The actual building, ''above'' ground is if l remember correctly is four stories and l do wonder what it is all used for. coffee1.gif

PS. Go by tube train, 10 minute walk.

I'm glad the OP informed us he went down the Embassy steps CAREFULLY.

I was worried for a moment that he might have fallen and grazed his knee or something. I'll sleep soundly tonight, knowing he didn't

Come on Bendix all those old timers on TV need to be careful not to break something. Its valid information here for the crowd.

I think he was trying to make the point that those steps are a bit of a hazard. Which they are as basement steps to these old Georgian buildings are steep, with no support.

Dreadful place.
