Is it possible to reach surat thani from koh samui for an 08.45AM flight with airasia

i have done this same flight many time and just stay over in surat thani the night before

what happens if the bus breaks down?i am doing the same flight again very soon and i will just stay over night again as its just to short a time table i think and would rather pay a nights hotel the to miss our flights

It's only 1000 baht to buy another flight to BKK or KL, not really risking a lot.
