Bookshop & Camping Shop Near Near Avana Hotel

Hi

Presently I am staying in Udon Thani but will be attending a wedding in bkk on saturday morning and will have a short amount of time on sat and/or sunday and hope to buy/browse a good thai language bookshop and also a camping shop. I want to get some books and maybe some tapes as i have limited internet access. I am also looking for a lightweight small self standing mozzie net with a good ground sheet as well as a leatherman pocket knife as a gift.

The hotel i am staying at is: Avana Hotel and Residence, 900 Moo 12 Bangna, Trad Road Km 2

Hi Patient,

Not far from your hotel is Seacon Square , which has a camping shop on the first floor (near to the entrance of Tesco Lotus) and Asia books, which has a lot of Thai language learning books (if I recall correctly, Asia books is in the middle area of the mall and on the second floor.

Also Central Bang Na which is across the road from your hotel has an Asia books but I'm not sure if there is a camping shop there.
