Shame that a few "non -trusting" members spoilt it for her! If a man comes to your front door and says he is conducting a survey and asks you to show him your arse, DO NOT show him your arse. This is a scam, he only wants to see your arse. Mighty Mouse Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 I knew it was a scam when the bar girl paid me 1000 baht to finish my drink and walk out of the bar with her. I knew the scam was continuing when she paid me another 1500 baht in the morning. Two years later I still believe that I am a victim of her scam but now she has upped her payment every morning to 2500 baht. Well I knew It was a scam...all my trip trough egypt...this moorish people really know how to get your money... However the worse was for one of the people who joined to our trip . HOwever in this case was because he wasn´t a nice person himself. Well we left him in Karnak temple in Luxor city. 1h later he came to our hotel room and show us a little (clay) godess. He though that the( silly? ) egiptian sold this goddess to him because the egiptian didn´t know that this was a very valuable object. He though that he had just bought a old relic for few egiptian pounds. He was very proud of himself and though that egiptians were very stupid people. Next day we went to the Valley of Kings...few meters from our bus we saw this egiptian guy selling this little goddess statues, exactly the same as the one that this guy bought the night before...they were even cheaper... That day she took me to (she told me) the house of her mother and brother. Huge 3 storey villa with swimming pool gold decorated fence and two Mercedes S500 in the garage. We spend a long time together and the next day I had to go back to my homecountry but promised to send 4 million Bath to her account which she said was needed to convince the people in the embassy to get her a visa to my homecountry. As soon as I arrived in my homecountry and having a few hours of sleep I transfered the money. I am waiting for her confirmation e-mail that she recieved it since December 2004.
