My wife is studying the above at College and she just can't get the correct Thai translation for 'liabilities' (in the financial sense). ie. a company has liabilities as opposed to assets. She thinks it's 'nee sin'. sorry it's not in thai but we only have a uk lappy. Why? coz that's where we are.

Secondly does anyone know of a Thai website for book keeping in Thai?

Thanks Steve

I just downloaded, for example, the financial statements for Esso Thailand which are available at http://esso-th.listedcompany.com/financials_statement.html

Here are the headings of the several sections of the balance sheet:

สินทรัพย์ - Assets

Current Assets

Non-current Assets

Liabilities and Shareholders' Equity

Current Liabilities

Non-current Liabilities

Shareholders' Equity

You can look at the individual lines to see how the balance sheet elements are styled in Thai.

You can also go to the Thai Stock Exchange website, select any company, and then check any of their different sheets: cashflow/ balance sheet/ profit sheet. All in Thai and English.
