Dont know about new people working there but when I popped in for breakfast last weekend everything was fine and running well.

Me too. Everything (service and food) was fine but it was very quiet. This was mid-morning but it was chucking it down outside, so that probably explained the lack of customers. The "Pig & Whistle" next door is hard to beat, especially on price and atmosphere.
