Pattaya Traffic Control Goes Green!

Featured Replies

As was evident today, the person responsible for setting the timing of traffic light count down controls on the Soi 17 junction and Third Road intersections has been replaced by a deceased geranium in an initiative to reduce manpower expenditure.

The new incumbent has set the delays at ten seconds and five minutes respectively.

An unnamed source from the Traffic Department gave the expected reassurance that they have no clue as to what is going on, but suspect the new employee could be a plant wishing to discredit the good name of the department. :D

Pattaya, the hub of officialdom incompetence? :o

This becomes funnier the more you read it! ".....the new employee could be a plant...."...geranium?

But the most laughable traffic decoration are the crosswalks.

If you want to witness real disaster spending - have a walk on Beach road - The sprinkler system, survalliance cameras (sp) $$$$, the power boxes, the power 'manholes' (filled w/ water).

Oh and the water 'treatment' facility(ies) - nothing more than pumphouses which hotels routinely circumvent - but no matter as they dont work anyway.
