It is Ahadonmadinnerjacket (CHECK YOUR SPELLING!) . . . no visible tongue involved otherwise I'd sell it to the SUN for a tenner

Nice. I know that back in about 2000 the great DOCTOR co-moderated this forum with a man in Chiang Mai called IT GUY. But surely ............... no evil befell the great doctor. He was a good man.

I often wonder where he went. When I first started using this forum I nick named it after him referring to it as "Dr Patong" forum.

If he still reads this I wish him all the best he is missed!jap.gif

bugger me, i am a forum newb, i thought Dr Pat Pong, was the doctor my uncle met in 1972, when he found an unusual problem when peeing, after a trip to pat pong, old sailors led him astray he assured me.

Dr. Patpong was also the master of the emoticon only post.

Usually four "cheesies" in a row.

If I told you I'm afraid I'd have to kill you.

Nice.

Surely (unlike that recent Phuket moderator), the good doctor had no skeletons in his closet.

Google is your friend.

Yep -- Google is indeed my friend.

I checked it. I read it. I re-read it.

Not good.

The doctor was well known for his one liner put downs...and also an arbitary lev el of bannings depending upon how his day had gone.

I liked his style. Current mods should take note. wink.png

I really detested his attitude about poorer people.

I never noticed that. Certainly a bit maverick in approach. Wasn't he one of those mysterious smurf people on here?

He let trolls have their fun. He welcomed entertainment.

The forum was better when he was in charge.

These days, boring (and rather childish) Scottish people are allowed to dominate.

True talent is long gone.

Such is this forum's loss.

All are free to contribute...as they always have been.

Funny...great threads I've seen here always spring from nowhere...like a tsunami...they need more than one or two conditions/participants to be executed...

And he would have smacked you harder than any one else for that comment, so suggest you drop the bad attitude and the snarky comments. If this thread can't remain lighthearted and is going to end up yet another moan fest, or worse, people having a go at each other over perceived insults on the internet it will be closed.

sheesh

Hey -- stay cool, little woman.

If I'm right, you're way down south in Phang Na.

You need to relax a bit.

Have a great day tomorrow. Enjoy the sunshine.

Ignoring Dr Pat Pong for the moment, MediumPaceBowler ... what brings you back after all these years?

Be careful. The "little woman" knows how to kick A** and has seriously kicked A** before. Best watch your mouth.

In the paraphrased words of the late great Jim Croce, You don't spit into the wind. You don't tug on Superman's cape. You don't pull the mask off the 'old lone ranger, and you don't mess around with SBK.

He is only a Medium Pace Bowler... unlikely to be 'tossing' it..though he might have a suspect action. ^_^
